This is an original, one-of-a-kind, mix-media collage on watercolour paper. It was created and inspired by my time living abroad in Singapore. The bold colors are created from a collection of plastic bags from my local grocery store, wet-market and hawker center. I try not to use plastic bags, but some days it just happens, so I have tried to honour their existence by reusing them in my art. If you look closely, you can find little bits and bobs of text that I purposely placed within the composition.

This piece is called Katong Flower. Notice, the top remnants of words? Look for them in green. This collage was named after my local flower shop + garden center. The garden centers in Singapore are inspirational place to be!
