PORTRAITS

This fall I decided to take a painting class at Callanwolde Fine Arts Center  with the awesome artist and teacher Jiha Moon.  I was struggling with what I wanted to do next as an artist. I'm not sure that I answered that question, but I did discover, to my surprise, that I enjoy painting portraits!  Here a few of me and my family from this fall.

Love the texture this pattern creates. I took the stamen from my Poppy Flower illustration and reworked it into this abstract texture. I think it makes for a cute coordinating pattern to the Poppy Flowers. ⁣ :⁣ #PatternPower⁣ #designisinthedetails⁣ #
